- Wowstead can detect the number of active ranks in your guild. The ranks are defaulted to Guild Master (Rank 0) and Rank 1 through Rank 9 - where Rank 1 is the highest and Rank 9 is the lowest. You can determine what site permissions a rank has using the Manage Permissions button to the right of a given rank. Users will be automatically granted site permissions based on the in-game rank of their character.

Good morning all.
First I want to share some great news:
We as a social guild managed to defeat the flame leviathan all by our selves. I can't say I'm not proud. We truly have come a far way.
However I want to caution not to get too excited we still need to get Naxx 10 under our belt and gear people up.
The last few weeks have seen some awesome raids with all kinds of people. However in a few cases we had to carry people through. This is part of a social guild and not a problem, but! those people do need to put a list on the website and invest some time in doing HC's. This will make the whole process easier. Now most have done this already and when I'm raid leader I will pick those before the slackers. Being carried is fine even good when you are willing to do the work.
Now this month we will focus on naxx 10 and try to schedule Flame Leviathan in between, we will also be running Naxx 25 with a friendly guild. So if you geared up for that let us know and we will try to get you a spot. We will also be recruiting and my ambitious goal is to run OS 25 as a guild run before the end of the month.
This month will als be the month of the dps. The best dps will win a nice price. The DPS will be judged on attitude, DPS, agrro and knowledge of tacts.
This was it for now, hope we will have the best time this month :D -
Last week has been a fun and exhausting week. We did way too many raids. I was in Naxx 10 and 25 on the same day.
But we got some guildies some nice gear, we even have 2 quarters down in a real! guild run. Was too bad all that pala gear dropped with no pala around.
I can say I think we are getting some where and Im having a great time. So if you are interested in naxx but need to run some more HC lemme know and we will get you sorted. -
After some hard thinking and discussions in guild chat most came to the conclusion that our rank system didnn't mean a lot. So here is the brand new one. We can discuss over the actual names but we will try the mechanics behind them for a while.
1 Queen, well speaks for itself I think. Although I like to think we are more democratic then that.
2 Prince; old officer rank, no further changes
3 Duke; old jr. officer rank, no further changes.
4 Marquis; old raidmaster. People who wear this rank will plan raids and help you organize one if you ask them.
5 Count; old raider with a twist. This rank is for people that actually raid at level 80 and show up when they have accepted an invite.
6 Lord; these are the heart of our guild. People who help with the guild bank, help, recruit and are fun in guild chat.
7 Knight; easiest rank to get, you just need to have been in the guild for 2 weeks.
8 Bard; these travelling souls have been so busy with their bard duties they havent been online for a month.
9 Jester; people who misbehave, this rank will come with really bad things. No guild back and no talking in guild chat. So my advice avoid at all times.
10 Squire; New members.
All the officer ranks are for exceptional people who work hard to make this guild an even better one.
So here's the good news it will be easier to get promoted and the rank will actually mean something, the bad thing is they are no longer set in stone. So if you work very hard to get Count or Lord and then stop doing what you did you will get a more proper rank.
Also I tried to give everyone a fair rank but it is possible that some will have a higher rank than they deserve and vice versa. Please be patience and proof me wrong and i will be corrected in the next few days.
Hope you will all enjoy the new system. -
Over the last few weeks we have gained members, some are sticking some are leaving but overall we are growing. And thats makes me very proud but the best thing is the team work. If I look at the log it's not just one person inviting but all over and that makes me the proudest that almost all of you are helping out :-).
Also a special thanks to Ana who organised a great OS run yesterday, I'm sorry I missed it.
Please get into the lottery and competition.... And keep up the good work.
Also as a side note. The GB is fairly laid back not many rules but I see some people taking more then giving and that can happen but make sure it's not always the case. Abuse will be dealt with.
Keep having fun, raiding, recruiting and talking nonsense in guild chat.
Cya all,
Mart -
Well we need some more traffic on this site. And here's my plan.......
First of we are going to have a lottery. One ticket is a 100G. After which I will draw one of your names. The winner will receive a nice cap with our guild tabard on it.
So to translate for a 100G you will get a real world price, of course we will also have smaller in-game prices.
Now for the guild tabard competition. The creator of the winning design will receive a T-Shirt with the Tabard on it. So get creative and post your design......
PS since I still can't log in anyone who reads this please let the guild know.
